“How do you like to be recognized?”

Recognition and appreciation are so important to employee engagement, but it is often treated as a one-size-fits-all approach.

What are some ways you can recognize great work?
▶ a nice email or handwritten note clearly describing the impact of the individual’s contributions
▶ giving your team member a platform to share their work or accomplishments with their team (ie. a demo at a department meeting or All Hands)
▶a discussion about achievements and career path opportunities
▶provide an opportunity for additional skill-building and personal development (ie. training courses, conference pass, book stipend)
